The TaxAssist Academy is a 12-month program that takes members through the Initial Training Course (ITC) and provides practical training for qualified accountants to gain the knowledge to confidently start working on individual tax returns, partnerships, companies and trusts, SMSF and tax and business advisory.
Mandy Sigaloff, Managing Director of TaxAssist said: “The Academy program has proven to be very popular and is a great way to ‘try before you buy’, while not having to leave full-time employment.
“Specific technical training, Q&As, webinars and case studies will be provided, with over 150 training sessions available online and in person. Once the program has been successfully completed, members will be able to take on clients under the TaxAssist supervision program, where TaxAssist supervises 100% of lodgements until the member has gained enough experience to apply for their own Tax Agent licence.”
The next dates for the Training Academy Programs are:
- 15th April 2024 (last chance to be ready to work as a contractor during the tax season)
- 17th June 2024
- 16th September 2024
- 15th November 2024 (chance to undertake training during the holidays)
