Luisa Nunez will become a franchisee in New Jersey, with Asma Ali operating from Texas. Asma will also be an Area Representative for Southern Texas, with plans to take two further territories in Austin and San Antonio. Moe Farhat will operate from Edmonton in Alberta, with a plan to open 10 shops over the next five years.

For David Paulson, Senior Vice President, Franchise Development, signing three new franchisees marks the start of ambitious plans for expansion across North America.

“We’ve had a fantastic response since announcing our plans to launch in the USA and Canada and I’ve been incredibly busy talking to serious prospects and hosting discovery days to explain more about our model,” said David.

“In Luisa, Asma and Moe, we have three first class individuals with extensive accounting experience, who understand the franchise model and the potential for growth, and we are looking forward to working closely with them as they build their practices.

On her decision to join TaxAssist Accountants, Luisa said: “I have successfully run my own practice for a number of years. However, I was attracted by the additional guidance and backup provided by a national brand and team of marketing and technical experts which will enable me to grow a much larger practice. I am excited by what the future holds and look forward to launching my storefront later in the year.”

Asma is an accountant with 10 years’ experience behind her and stated: “I was really pleased to have discovered the TaxAssist Accountants opportunity because I have been keen to establish my own practice for some time, and this ticks all the boxes.

“I was looking for additional support to run a year-round accounting practice and was attracted by the storefront concept, branding, marketing and technical support and expertise available to me. The model also allows for scaling up, and my plan is to develop further territories in the short term.”

Moe was attracted to the TaxAssist Accountants storefront concept and business development initiatives from the outset. “Many people will ask why I chose TaxAssist?” said Moe. “Really, it was the ‘one-stop-shop’, comprehensive, all-round service, specifically for small businesses, with world-class marketing and training support.”

Interest in the franchise is growing in Australia, where TaxAssist Accountants has franchisees in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and Perth providing a full range of all-year round professional accounting, tax, SMSF and business advisory services to small businesses.

The franchise opportunity will appeal to qualified accountants working in industry, tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with an accountancy or law degree or diploma, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
