Our Franchise

TaxAssist Accountants has a history spanning over 20 years and has now branched out to Australia. We have 8 franchised locations in Australia and provide a wide range of services to our clients.

Find out more about what it takes

Before you sign up to our franchise it is important to have a good understanding of the TaxAssist Accountants business model and the role you will play in developing your business. We are looking to grow our network further by taking on franchisees who share our vision of offering a first-class service to small business and self-employed clients via shop front premises.

Who trains me?

We do! Training lasts for six weeks and takes place at our Support Centre, with a week’s home study in week four. All new franchisees are required to take an online aptitude test at home before joining the training course, and for those whom we feel it would be beneficial, we require them to attend a two-day introduction to bookkeeping course ahead of the six-week training course. If the franchisee passes the aptitude test they do not need to complete the pre-course training although they can still attend these two introductory days if they wish.

For the Directors it is a chance to meet their potential franchisee and to show them what a great opportunity is on offer. Read more about our discovery days here.

TaxAssist Liverpool

The look and feel of the shops are completely different from traditional accounting practices. We know clients will appreciate our open, welcoming look and we want clients to enjoy coming through the door. Gone are the days of feeling inhibited by a trip to your accountant. The shop certainly seems to be working too, in the first two weeks of opening, I signed 14 clients, the majority of which were walk-in clients!
